Airline information technology company SITA released its annual report on airline baggage managing on Thursday, revealing that fewer than 6 baggages per 1,000 fares were mishandled last year. That’s down 12.5 percent year over year.

However, the chances that your baggages will be misplaced are higher if youre making a tie-in: SITA reports that 47 percent of delayed baggages were in the process of being transferred.
