It’s day 1,000 of people being outraged over a video on Vanity Fair‘s website that suggests Hillary Clinton take up new hobbies outside of politics in 2018. So it makes sense that President Donald Trump decided to tweet about the whole thing now.
However, it appears that he doesn’t know who the editor in chief of Vanity Fair is (it’s Radhika Jones) because he called out Anna Wintour, who is the well-known editor in chief of Vogue. Wintour is also the artistic director for Condé Nast, which publishes both magazines. Still, it’s odd that he is calling out Wintour, who he claimed is “beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!” Uh, what?
Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!

People on Twitter were quick to point out Trump’s apparent error.
Anna Wintour edits Vogue not Vanity Fair but that won't stop President Casserole Brain from sharing his most vivid S&M fanfic. https://t.co/IeE85Vlajs

Anna Wintour? I guess I can't fault anyone for not knowing the difference between VF and Vogue, but this is pretty funny. https://t.co/CMnGVxzlv3

Even if Trump intended to call out Wintour simply because she works for Condé Nast and staunchly supported Clinton during the presidential election, the tweet is still a mess.
Is there anyway to read this but that the President is confused and unwell? If this were Dad or Grandpa at the dinner table, you'd be calling a family meeting to discuss options. https://t.co/bPlIuRLFRn

Wintour hasn’t publicly responded to Trump’s tweet yet, but that didn’t stop people from imagining what she would say.
I hope Anna Wintour responds to Trump. pic.twitter.com/SYDihQnlyQ
